From Google News Search: "Dream interpretation" Dream Interpretation: Do you believe there are archtypal images in all dreams? Q. I read an abridged book by freud about dream interpretation and I found it all to be hogwash. He went on and on about archtype images that supposedly mean something specific no matter who dreams the dream. It has always seemed to me that the specific images in a dream usually make no sence, and that its the actions that are trying to convey a message. When interpreting a dream, I look at the general feelings and actions rather than trying to ascribe a specific literal or archtypal meaning to am image. I'm not saying images are NEVER what they are. I'm just saying that often, its not about the images at all but about the general sence they convey. What do you think? Asked by Nash - Mon Sep 24 01:35:59 2007 - - 5 Answers - 0 Comments A. Q. I had a dream where i woke up finding myself laying naked on a morticians table. The room was dark, cold and morbid like a garage but massive. I then turned to my left to see a naked woman and a baby. I then realize i am in a room full of dead naked babies and women. The babies and women are pale white and seem to be starting to go rotten. There bodies are bruised. I wake up terrified then go to sleep and DREAM about telling someone my dream which i then end up dreaming again. You have most likely had a shocking experience recently or realized what the world really is like. Maybe you recently read a scary book or watched a scary movie. You would really have to give many details, such as how you felt, for me to give more information Answered by Ean - Sat May 22 00:15:47 2010 From Yahoo Answer Search: "Dream interpretation" |
